The Tree House Denmark

That granite boulder rising up through the floor in the living room is hard to miss. But it's not just a fun feature as it gives structural support and "anchors" the whole house to the hill.

It's a gentle flight of steps up a long granite boulder to the cantilevered entrance deck to the Tree House. The steps are lit automatically in the evenings (as are the twin majestic karris!).

The living space inside is light and spacious and double height. It incorporates the kitchen and dining in an open plan so all enjoy the outlook to the large deck and surrounding views. The kitchen is all electric with induction cooktop (easy to use) and granite tops. A dishwasher rounds things off in the kitchen.

The living space itself is feature packed with not just the granite boulder but also a jarrah tree (its dead) supporting the mezzanine. A curved feature wood burning heater is especially imported from Denmark (the other one!), and is easy to use and stunning. A 60" TV and blue ray helps on rainy days.

We have air conditioning for winter and summer seasons and the house is 5+ star rated for all year comfort. A double bath with spa, and separate shower in the bathroom, and a built in vanity in the bedroom all add to the enjoyment, with any length of stay. We have one main bedroom with a queen size bed, panoramic window, built in robe and vanity basin. There is additional queen size bed sleeping on the mezzanine loft.

A laundry with separate washer and dryer is on hand and all linen and towels are provided.

Note: The Tree House sits 6 metres above the carpark with 38 steps to the front door. Subsequently it is not suitable for the infirm.
